Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray : “I don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”
Standing on the Sky’s Edge
I accept that the ability to dominate our emotions can and are difficult, and also that some of our emotions can be devastating and occasionally life ending It is essential that we must remember that we do have control, and it calls for a selfishness in our thoughts to changed and to try to become what we want to be.
This is one of three paintings produced in January at my studio in Derby.

A very handsome piece Greg – so many levels of visual metaphor, colour and image – one of my faves of what I have seen of your work…
Thank you John, I truly appreciate your feedback; though this week I am busy making maquettes, so all being well I will show you some of my sculpture work this weekend.
Look forward to seeing your 3D pieces…
